Why am I not receiving training points for stretching exercises in active365?

Stretching is important – but not intense enough for points
Wondering why your stretching exercises don’t earn training points? Don’t worry, we’ll explain why and why stretching is still extremely important!

The MET value: your intensity indicator
At active365, we use the MET value (Metabolic Equivalent) to measure the intensity of your exercises:
- High MET value = intense activity = training points
- Low MET value = light activity = no training points
Stretching exercises generally have a low MET value because they’re not as physically demanding as jogging or strength training.

Why stretching is still important
Even if you don’t earn points for it, stretching is great for you:
- Improves your flexibility
- Helps prevent injuries
- Supports recovery after intense training
- Can reduce muscle soreness

Tips: how to combine stretching with points
Want to collect points anyway? Here are some ideas:
1. Do a short warm-up before stretching (e.g., jumping jacks)
2. Include stretching within a HIIT workout
3. Stretch after an intense training session – you’ll have already earned the points!

Your progress goes beyond points
Remember: not everything that’s good for you earns points. Stretching is an important part of your fitness routine – even without training points.

Motivation boost: see your stretching sessions as an investment in your health and performance. They help you perform even better in point-earning activities!

Stay consistent and enjoy the benefits of stretching – your body will thank you!
